This is a template for an empirical term paper at the university. It comes with a nice folder structure that allows a good overview of the different text parts.
It includes various options that are customizable (e.g. cover page/no cover page; including/excluding table of content, list of figures/tables) and also gives a quick introduction into the very basics of LaTeX such as highlighting, citing, writing, including tables, figures, and mathematical equations.
A useful document for game designers to layout your ideas in a way that makes sense to outsiders. It's not 100% necessary to have all of these sections always do what is best for your projects which may need special sections such as 'narrative' or if your project is far more script heavy then look into LaTeX plugins for UML and class diagrams to make your doc extra pretty.
This template was first designed by Zhaoli Wang, and was improved by him following the suggestions from MCM (Mathematical Contest in Modeling) and ICM (Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling) contest participants. In the beginning of the year 2014, Liam Huang redesigned it, by using key-value syntax, and fixed known bugs. Liam reimplemented it at the beginning of the year 2015, by DocStrip,
and uploaded it to CTAN. We changed the sheet layout and fonts set for new format requirement of year 2019 for v 6.3.
Note that use of this template is not compulsory to participate in MCM/ICM!
